Harbor View Entertainment is a full time full service Wedding DJ Entertainment service.

To begin, I will work closely with you to make sure you fully understand all of the decisions you'll face and how they pertain to your event. From ceremony music, reception music, wedding traditions, to your location, and situations with family and friends.

I know this might sound crazy, but I can often help you plan your wedding in about an hour. If you provide me with the date, number of guests, and your budget, I can start. With my knowledge of the venues and the best vendors in Northern Michigan, I can help you with your choices and take away the stress.

I will explain in detail how your entire day will go, helping you build and better understand the time line. Let me explain. It is very common that brides and grooms don't plan for enough time to travel between locations, for pictures before and after the ceremony, to dismiss guests, pictures before the reception on the reception site, and time for the wedding party to get ready for the introductions. (If you have ever tried to herd cats, then you know what I am talking about). These are just a few of the details that we will need to go over to insure that your time is being utilized to benefit you the most.

We will discuss the ceremony and your music. Choices might include pre-ceremony music, the music for the bridesmaids, music for you as you walk down the aisle, sand ceremony, candle lighting ceremony, readings, solo performances during the ceremony, and recessional music as you walk down the aisle once you are married. Wow, don't worry. I have provided the music and have been involved in hundreds of ceremonies.

We will also discuss how you want to be introduced at the reception. For example, a song playing in the background, your wedding party introduction, or something fun and unique that you would like to do. We will discuss the order of the various events that take place at a reception, such as the blessing, toasts, cutting the cake, etc. I will describe the preparation that I do before the toasts and blessing so that every detail goes very smoothly. I have many ideas on how to deal with remarried parents, single parents, uneven numbers in the wedding party, and what to do with significant others that are not in the wedding party. I will let you know how to remember those who are too ill to attend, and those loved ones you've lost.

Throughout the event, I stay in close contact with your photographers and always inform them what might be happening next. Your photographer and your videographer will capture more memorable pictures and video if they know what is about to happen next. Having a good relationship with the caterer, hall manager, and photographers, as I do, is very important to the success of the event. We will go over all the details and fun ideas to make your party the time of your life. We will discuss what will happen before and during the ceremony, until the end of the night and the last songs to be played, and how to say thank you and goodbye to everyone.

You'll be depending upon me on the day of your event, and I want you to be comfortable knowing that all of the details have been covered. The time we spend talking on the phone or meeting in person will seem small compared with the peace of mind you'll have in knowing that your event will be professionally well-planned and most of all...fun!
